F.A.Qs
1Do you have to be an artist to participate?
No, everyone is welcome. You can doodle, write, collage, just have fun with it!
What we do ask is for you to share something about yourself.
2Is there an appropriate age?
The Human Unity project can be a great opportunity for families to teach their little ones about humanity and empathy; but overall, I would say that everyone from teen to adults of all ages would be the ideal audience.
3Is my donation tax deductible?
No, since I am not a 501 C-3 nonprofit organization. Donations will be used to create programming and events for nonprofit organizations, schools and other entities interested in the project but who might not be able to cover the expenses to participate.
Our hope is to be as inclusive as possible.
4When and where is the project going to be exhibited?
At the moment, the location and date for the Human Unity exhibit has not been defined. I am currently in conversation with a venue for an exhibit next spring. My hope is that this project will connect with many, and the exhibit will have the opportunity to travel.
5How can I support the project?
The best way to support the project is to just participate. You can purchase a kit for you, for your family or for your book club or any other social activity. By hosting an evening with your friends or family, you are creating an opportunity to connect and have meaningful conversations. You might have some laughter as well.
Of course, I accept donations, because I am just one individual trying to put some love back into the universe. Your support will help take Human Unity further and reach higher.
6Why is the return postage not included?
Postage is just too hard to predict, as it depends on the weight and the distance (and which country it’s coming from), and to be honest, it’s cost prohibitive for a grassroots effort like this.
Thank you for wanting to understand my intentions with this project, and I look forward to receiving everyone’s cards.
