Who is Nick Ramos?

With heart and soul at the forefront of all that he does, Nick Ramos seeks to put more love into the world. He is an artist, activist, traveler, and daydreamer. He typically wears his proverbial heart on his sleeve, and for his latest project, "Humanity Unity," he's literally wearing a heart-shaped outfit to bring attention to a new creative endeavor.

A daily doodler, Nick’s ideas transform from notebook and pen, transforming in digital formats, and often back to print. Some of his art is cute and cuddly, while other pieces reveal that cute can also be strong and compelling. As a lover of puns, wordplay usually finds its way into his art too.

In a past art-meets-activism project, he invited American artists to bring more attention (and raise funds) to help refugees (see BuildHopeNotWalls.com). This year, he has launched "Humanity Unity," to creatively build understanding across cultures. In between projects, he's traveled to numerous countries as an artist-in-residence, a family member, and adventurer, enthusiastically creating in both work and play.

Nick Ramos is from Brazil-Boston-Chicago-Texas; he isn't shy about belting out 80s classics with abandon, charmingly not pitch perfect; loves to share laughter over coffee and a meal; and thinks we all need more love and art in our lives.

The more cards we collect, the stronger the exhibit.
The more people who connect, the stronger our world.
